Ferraro Arredi Tecnici was founded in 1965 by its current
owner when, after the carpentry work carried out by his father in a local
chemical plant taken over by an important US group, a number of wood items
were supplied to the chemistry laboratories as a support to the equipment
used. Shortly after, Ferraro Arredi Tecnici took part for the first time
in the “Chemistry Equipment Exhibition” held every year in
Milan. This moment marked the beginning of its contacts outside Valbormida
and of its specific activity as the manufacturer of technical furnishings
for chemistry laboratories.
In 1969 the old carpentry shop where the idea was first conceived and
developed was moved to its current premises in Via Brigate Partigiane
no. 2. In the course of time these were extended with an office area,
a permanent showroom for its furnishings and a production and warehouse
area of more than 3000 m2. The 1970s brought great tangible results with
the subsequent growth in the turnover, personnel and the organizational
structure. In the 1980s, in order to tackle first and foremost the ever-growing
demand for “turnkey” solutions, the company started to plan
and hence manufacture mobile and equipped partition walls, alongside its
traditional fittings. Today Ferraro Arredi Tecnici S.r.l. is a partner
capable of meeting any demand that a chemistry laboratory may have by
acting in the quality of main contractor and taking on the task of coordinating
the supply and installation of all the laboratory equipment and fittings.
